Basin Street Records was formed in 1997. The first project for the label was the recording of Kermit Ruffins' The Barbecue Swingers Live in November 1997 in front of a packed house at Tipitina's in New Orleans.
Jeremy Davenport joined the Basin Street Records lineup early in 2009 and his first album on the label was released in July of that year.
New Album-We'll Dance ‘Til Dawn
The newly released CD titled, ‘We’ll Dance ‘Til Dawn’ was a labor of love. It is a good snapshot at where I am right now musically - playful yet seductive, while keeping the real focus on the music itself.
